  • Typically the danse macabre is typical of Northern/Eastern Europe but this Forest is very special and fascinating, and above all has been preserved almost in its entirety while being outdoors. Worth a visit. Also in town many houses retain traces of frescoes of 400 (bad they're almost gone).

  • Worth a visit by reading first thing you see in the fresco and the symbolism it contains. Near the Basilica and piazza watch, whereby within 100 meters there are three things almost unknown that I wouldn't dare to define masterpieces

  • Valuable frescoes depicting the triumph of death performed in about 1470 by Giacomo Bamidele, painter of Albino who performed even those within the Church of the Oratorio dei Disciplini narrating the life of Jesus. Our danse macabre looks really triumphant in front of the impressive Basilica of Clusone, up there overlooking the plateau. I recommend d see the complex in the evening, when lit up.
