  • The Basilica Di Santa Maria Assunta in addition to being beautiful, provides a panoramic view very beautiful place to stay Uptown. On the side you will find a door all worked and on the patio you can enjoy an allegorical painting of danse macabre or dance of death, common in the late Middle Ages, which expresses the idea of the universality of death. Sunset on the patio of the Basilica is beautiful!

  • Basilica located on one of the highest points of the historical part of the town. It is accessed by two twin staircases or the wider Central, but perhaps less impressive. Once you reach the churchyard there lies in the possibility to visit before entering the basilica and the danse macabre that the oratorio dei disciplini and the adjoining Museum exhibition. Inside the basilica there are numerosidipinti related to the orobic pictorial tradition of the eighteenth century. The altar is the area less in shade. The architectural concept without large Windows makes the basilica quite dark, and then the works of art are not easily noticeable. Interesting the portal that is not made of wood but only bronze casting.
