  • Take the ferry to Fondamenta Nove and you reach the island of Saint Erasmus after 30 minutes. You decide if you have sneakers and fancy the walk. Go down to the last stop on the island to Punta Vela. on exiting the station, take the street in front going to the left (via de le motte) and have it for 400 Mt. to the intersection with via dei forti turn left and go straight ahead. after a few hundred meters you will find yourself on the right bottom of the island's manufactured deldepuratore Rosé go straight to the right until you reach the lagoon tensing. at this point you are on the embankment overlooking Treporti. Steering to the right and let him all. I am at least 5-6 km of beautiful walk at noon (not recommended in high summer). At the end of the South coast with beautiful little beaches you will find yourself at the Fort and the nearby German restaurant and bar, with Maximilian attached beach in summer. Then x the return on the Western side of the island you can walk along the long straights, where at the beginning on the right you will find the hotel restaurant il lato azzurro. At the end of the straight you will find yourself at the ferry stop x Venice shed. If you'd like to make the turn in reverse here you might hire useful and historical bicycles.

  • Brisk walk, we started from piazzale Roma walk down the street Nova up to about 3.5 km, there change to Fondamenta Nove waterbus nr 3 towards the island of Sant'Erasmo approximately 25 min. We got off at the first stop, shed and we continued walking straight for a paved road for about 800 m until the Maximilian tower that was closed. Circumvented the Tower East you enter immediately into a dirt road on the sea border which runs along the island, one can see the orchards, vines and the East lagoon Treporti, Punta Sabbioni, the Lido and ilMose in Burano. The tour is about 8 km for lunch there is a pizzeria near the tower.

  • The lagoon has a special charm and this island little used by tourism was for me a discovery. I turned the whole bike ride on a beautiful sunny day, looking for hidden corners and natural views. The renowned plant delights gardens in a picturesque farm discovered by accident. A lovely day out.
