  • We live near Citadel, but we have never stayed there. Worth it especially with kids because it is an easy walk, but impressive. Very friendly staff and a special thanks to Sara. Family price 14 € for 4 people and the baby to 3 years do not pay. I'd say super cheap compared to other similar attractions.

  • At the invitation of a friend with a passion for photography we spent an unexpected afternoon, climbing the walls and between the battlements on the towers. The path on the pomerium gives you the possibility to do the complete tour of the city and of cittadiona (about 1 hour), to entertain themselves in the heart of the rooms overlook the buttresses that host copies of guns of the 14th and 15th centuries, period costumes and a friendly and attentive. The walls you can see also the outer moat and the fine villas of Citadel (for those who allow themselves to intrigue contemporary worldliness). The sunset at the end is certainly a romantic moment, but also poignant for the family.

  • Beautiful town completely surrounded by walls, which can be visited completely circulating herders from door to door. Citadel has a very pretty square, typical alleys and a retro feel. Bella!

  • 5 euros are worth to appreciate the Cittadella's view from the top of walls. Furthermore, with this ticket you are able to visit archeological museum situated midway of the wall path. To turn around on the wall and visit the museum it takes about 1 hour and half, in a relaxed way. Have fun!
  • Beautiful to see outside and great to visit. In the towers are a small museum and major reconstructions of medieval tools and weapons. Admission is €5 but so worth it. I have only half path walkway because there were 30 degrees in the shade and the Sun side I preferred to avoid it. Maybe during the summer months it is preferable to enter the last entry at 20.

  • Really very impressive, the path allows a view from above of the beautiful houses with gardens behind the walls, within the city, and the surrounding countryside.

  • The walkway on the walls of the Citadel is an experience both day and night; on average it takes half an hour to complete the whole lap; for those who choose not to make the full turn, there is the possibility of stopping halfway and drive through the streets of downtown Citadel!

  • The view of the Citadel from the top is a must do when visiting the city. The journey time is from 1 to 2 hours. Half way (over Porta Padova) there is a museum. The entrance fee is €5 with discounts provided for students, children and other categories.
