  • The Cathedral, dedicated to Saints Florid and Amanzio, overlooking piazza Gabbriotti along with other medieval and Renaissance buildings such as the Town Hall, the civic Tower and the Museum of the opera del duomo. It was built in the 11th century on the site of a Roman temple built by Pliny the younger and over the years has had several interventions: in fact it was enlarged in the 14th century and rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries. On upper dome has an unfinished façade and in its current form is a Renaissance construction. Romanesque origin evidenced by the near round steeple reminiscent of those of Ravenna, a staircase leads to the crypt also called lower basilica where the relics of the Saints to whom the Cathedral is dedicated. San Crescentino's skull is preserved and the statue of the Black Madonna. Nice Interior and beautiful frescoes, especially those concerning the life of San Florido. Is one church to visit, overlooking a beautiful square that suddenly appears after wandering through the alleys of the historical centre.

  • I visited this church while he was in the process of filming for the mass on 7 January so we couldn't see anything but already there were actually so I remembered well that overall this city totally wowed me, however unfortunately we couldn't adanre down where there is the crypt, however overall the place is nice.

  • We went to visit the Cathedral, is gorgeous inside, there is also a statue of the Madonna that seems to set you straight in the eye! It seems that you're talking about. The rest is gorgeous, the pictures are great, we also saw the exhibition of Christmas cribs just beneath the Cathedral, and it was a visit which left us speechless. Cribs one more beautiful than the other, especially the one all in Crystal containing the Vatican.
