  • Sunday drive in Terre di Piero, with wonderful surprise and discover the village of Citerna with its fascinating terracotta statue of Donatello. Professionalism of the guide that illustrated not only the work but also the Church of San Francesco, upon payment or loss (minor) of the ticket. I highly recommend a trip "out door" in these places full of warmth and hospitality. Let yourself be soothed by the gentle hills and the good food.

  • Madonna and child discovered in recent times and attributed to Donatello, is located in the sacristy of the Church.

  • Very finely executed, visible in the Church of San Francesco, in context, CITERNA, truly magnificent. Medieval village, perched in a strategic position between the Tiber Valley and the Val Cerfone, dominates the area. Very quiet, with few, but great places to see such as medieval walkways, "globular" old tanks to collect water and under the City Hall premises devoted to exhibitions and art events, medieval fireplace, located in a building used as a ceramics studio, visited freely, theater Baltimore, a real favor box with one hundred seats and finally, the breathtaking view. Everything is open for half a day and one can conclude with a dinner in the various rooms, all great.
