  • An almost magical place, the atmosphere is great. The garden is an oasis. Is immaculately kept enviable and at times feels like a fairy tale. We recommend the period of blooms to check though on the site given the wide variety of plants present.

  • i was really looking forwards to visiting the gardens for a while and was in luck to be there in the right time and season, brought tickets online (a must from what i then saw there: people in line sh...  more »
  • I did spring a guided tour of this magnificent monumental garden. Simply beautiful. Very brave and competent driving, guided us through the wonders of this garden. Suitable for families, couples and friends. Ample parking, good toilets. Worth the ticket price that is around 15 euro, if you visit the hortus conclusus, which I highly recommend. Go there and you will not regret it!

  • One of the greatest protected abnormal gardens ever visited and we've visited our fair share. What made it better was having a private tour and a great guide. I'd suggest attaching a go pro or something to your forehead so you can retain all the visual and verbal info...spent too much time taking pictures and not enjoying more.
  • It's a beautiful botanical garden built around the ruins of a medieval village. It's very beautiful, but the whole experience is ruined by the fact that they only let you go in with a group of ~50 people on a guided tour. You aren't allowed to wonder around, have a picnic or stay for more than an hour. You will get some nice pics, but the nearby village of Sermoneta is a much nicer experience overall.
  • It's so amazing I cannot wait to return. You leave it with the fear that you might not. Its beyond your dreams.
  • One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Me and my girlfriend want to go back and visit it between May and June, when all the flowers are at their best!
  • Fascinating gardens. We went on a guided tour in the rain and had a wonderful time. So beautiful. I can't remember enjoying visiting a garden more.
