Historic Site
Wander through gardens steeped in history at Giardino di Ninfa, where you can see the remains of Ninfa, a city thought to be founded in the first century of the Roman republic. The town was inhabited until the 16th century and today is the site for a 105 hectare (259.4 acre) English-style garden. Amble past streams, ponds, flowers, and trees to see what remains of the city. Bird-lovers may notice that the garden is home to 152 species of bird. Ask about guided tours offered in various languages. • ... for fans of nature, history, and more. It seems to live in a fairy tale, the vegetation is rich and varied, change shapes and colors from one month to another. Not to be missed. Magical.

  • An authentic English park with thousands of plants from all over the world! Nothing is left to chance, well maintained, only visible with predetermined day and help! Really worth a visit!

  • That Sunday was my 4th visit to nymph, the former had just been in October 2016. Little to write, so much to see: a walk in the garden is always a pleasure, in every season, at every visit you can see something new: a tree with a different color, a plant in bloom, etc etc. Superb for photo enthusiasts, but also for the merely curious who want to spend an hour immersed in the peace and quiet that this garden offers. On the same day you can also visit Sermoneta and its castle, the archaeological ruins of Norm, the Chocolate Museum of Norma (much appreciated by bambini...ma even parents!), the Museum of the second world war by piana delle orme or enjoy a day at the Lake fogliano or seaside. Guided visits only, I think the animals are not allowed, no smoking. Rules that may seem restrictive, but serve to protect this OASIS. Limited places, few openings per year: If you don't want to make the trip, buy tickets online, several times I saw people sent away because they had sold out.

  • One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Me and my girlfriend want to go back and visit it between May and June, when all the flowers are at their best!
  • Fascinating gardens. We went on a guided tour in the rain and had a wonderful time. So beautiful. I can't remember enjoying visiting a garden more.
  • Absolutely stunning. Well worth the trip from Rome. You have to be on a guided tour to see the gardens, but the tours are a good length (roughly an hour) and the guides are knowledgeable. Less frequent English tours are available.
  • Amazing! Magical! Must see.
  • Magical place this. Jaw-droppingly beautiful.
