Wander through gardens steeped in history at Giardino di Ninfa, where you can see the remains of Ninfa, a city thought to be founded in the first century of the Roman republic. The town was inhabited until the 16th century and today is the site for a 105 hectare (259.4 acre) English-style garden. Amble past streams, ponds, flowers, and trees to see what remains of the city. Bird-lovers may notice that the garden is home to 152 species of bird. Ask about guided tours offered in various languages. Un posto splendido. Si entra solo con una visita guidata per gruppi, che deve essere prenotata. The tour takes about an hour and a half to this garden set in the middle of the ruins of a medieval village, which offers amazing corners. Don't miss it. I recommend to match the visit to Norba or Sermoneta.
Un giardino ben curato, la guida ci ha fatto vivere 1 ora e mezza in modo piacevole senza annoiarci mai tra storia e natura. Senz'altro da tornare perché ogni stagione da delle emozioni diverse. more »A well-groomed garden, the guide made us live 1 hour and a half in a pleasant way without ever getting bored between history and nature. Definitely to come back because every season from different emotions.

Despite being at the end of October a beautiful day allowed me to enjoy a full visit of about an hour in the company of a very prepared and nice guide. Beautiful and great vegetation, interesting ruins of the ancient city. Note that the guide manages to involve even children who can therefore appreciate this place. I recommend choosing visits at quite uncrowded times then choosing the tour that departs at ten or earlier. You will have time to visit something among the other attractions in the area and have lunch at one of Norma's good trattorias.
Too beautiful & will remain a most special & beautiful precious memories for our family!! 21 July 2019 🎈🎶🌷♥️
A beautiful place but very difficult to get to without a car. If you're going, get a bus to Norma but check if it stops near the gardens. To get back, take the same bus which goes to Norma but them returns to Latina (they are vey infrequent) Or get the bus to Norma after the gardens and stay the night (don't stay before as the bus does a loop and doesn't pass the gardens on the way back from Norma) Norma is well worth a visit.
Though not the easiest to figure out when you can actually go, it is worth the effort. This garden is beautiful. While I am not a fan of guided tours I respect that it is the only way these gardens can be maintained at this level otherwise people would be trampling the gardens. Plan in advance and buy your tickets well in advance. Most tours are sold out and you will be sure they are open on that date.
Really impressive and well maintained gardens. Guide was wonderful. Very imaginative presentations. Even with the rain it was glorious. Wish it were easier to get to though.
The place is really beautiful, very rich with history and the atmosphere is amazing, very serene and quiet. You're required to buy the tickets online before but it also includes a guided tour which details the whole history of the gardens and information about the many kinds of plants inside. For the little italian/European garden at the end you have to pay extra but it's a nice place as well.
