  • The Temple of Apollo is placed, at Punta Alice, a fascinating promontory of the coast of the Ionian Sea, just north of Crotone, Ciro Marina. A place, a boss, a low promontory, a spit of land that in its nature and its morphology, has attracted or recalled colonizers, chasing after the war Philoctetes, peregrin a Homeric Troika, which made this place a magnificent city of Megale Hellas named Krimisa, famous in antiquity and unknown in the current era, for its shrine dedicated to Apollo Alaios sea and navigation protector , and whose magnificent temple remain the perimeter walls that after 2500 years saw them that Bears Padilla of Rovereto, swampy and malarial swamps, to reluctantly dug in to fondle "incredulous" the marble head of acrolith Apollo.

  • Interesting but kept very badly

  • There is no shame for the neglect of the place over the last 30 years. The temple does not have much to offer except the remnants of perimeter, mismanagement makes it even less attractive.
