  • villa ghirlanda Park, it would be very nice especially for the villa recently restored where they also celebrated the weddings, and for centuries-old plants that are inside, unfortunately the feeling is that of a general laxity regarding the appearance that regarding cleanliness. Sin deserves so much more!

  • I consider it to be a true "gem" from an architectural point of view, one of those gems that are worth getting in the car and go to visit it. Villa Ghirlanda was built shortly after the mid 1600 from one of the most famous architects of the time, Gian Domenico Richini, Silva. One of the last descendants of the family, Hercules Silva, commissioned an English garden and renewed the halls with neoclassical style. From the porch we could access the beautiful mirror room overlooking the large garden. The walls are covered with polychrome stucco lucido, in imitation of marble, and punctuated by fluted Ionic pillars. The central pane presents a false ceiling chests painted with the education of Bacchus. The thing that most surprised us was the vision of the eclectic facade that looks onto the garden where the Lombard Quattrocento tradition lives on in the use of terracotta, combined with white marble, moldings and decorative inserts. A gem not to be missed!

  • It is a small park, but very friendly, especially the entrance is from a renovated pedestrian zone. There are always exciting events during the week and on weekends.
