  • In the historical centre of Chiusi, adjacent to the dome square, a solemn building houses two Setup plans (ground and below), almost entirely dedicated to Etruscan art, with a wide source of artifacts from burial grounds and graves in the area of Val di Chiana. Notable pieces with the originality that distinguishes the Etruscan ruins from the Greek and Latin gentlemen. To visit several sarcophagi and some Sule, showing the faces of the dead, some of them with impressive features. But that's another story ...

  • This museum gives you a very good picture of the etruscans, those so interesting ancient people. The museum is not too big but ccontains a very good collection of vases, statues, household goods, jewe...  more »

  • Well maintained Museum examples very interesting. It is not of course to the level of that of Florence, Volterra and, nearby, Cortona. Worth a visit, including etruscan tombs (Lion and, in particular, the Pilgrim) included in the ticket. The visit to the tomb of the monkey is with ticket: essential booking by phone.
