  • I often come here to unwind Huge mountain hut lawn for picnics Barbecues for grilling meat or other fresh water fountain public toilets walks of varying difficulty

  • Beautiful Woods where make pleasant strolls, the sound of flowing water relaxes the mind and the heart, very suitable for families with children and dogs.

  • A few km from Mondovì and the Centre of Chiusa Pesio you climb after the Charterhouse of Pesio for some km to a narrow but very well kept. Clean, tidy and well run by the guardians up to Pian delle Gorre where the hut is surrounded by the lack of reporting of the right (to avoid the Savages) toll of picnic tables scattered about the area, but the total absence of receptacles if not only area with bins overflowing is not pleasant, particularly near the refuge. who is eating ice cream (purchased precisely to shelter) you must bring back?? overall grade 78/100

  • Sunday we went to the shelter, there was not a lot of people but many tables were empty. When asked if there was no place to eat we were told to contact the blonde lady who readily told us "you booked?" no, of course, and then we weren't given a chance to eat (I repeat, a shelter, not a hotel-winning!). While I was waiting for in attase that some table released (despite many free tables) son arriving three people who were asked to eat and also the question "have you booked" they replied NO ma......la blond Lady ordered a waiter to find the place and let them sit! mAh! who should capitar to eat wishes to pose the question in minute right! then again, it's a refuge, people arrive without knowing what time and should have a chance to eat, it makes no sense to make reservations at a SHELTER like the top of the michelin Guide!

  • Rude staff. Also in Easter cannot make sandwiches or toast ... infinite sadness ...

  • To be a refuge lowest prices high for the quantity and quality of the dishes.

  • We ate a great polenta, I liked the one with cheese. The gentleman who served us was personable and helpful as well as the rest of the staff.

  • Great place to spend the weekend. From Pian delle Gorre, there are many interesting walks for the less energetic.
