  • The inevitable "green lung" of a city that does not offer many similar spaces, heir of those noble gardens pertaining to Villa Frigerj, now the archaeological museum. Generally clean and well maintained, the municipal gardens provides recreation for children and an opportunity to relax and enjoy the outdoors for the more grown up. But not entirely absent tone-deaf notes: the maintenance of the pond of the attractive Fontana del Nettuno leaves something to be desired (in summer it is almost impossible to reach for the stench), the football/basketball is unusable and unfortunately the military hospital (former monastery) was recently closed. For that the historic city is undergoing a continuous depopulation (activities, offices), worth visiting one of the symbols of a city that has much more to offer.

  • As mentioned is the flagship of this battered city ... you can't ignore a visit that includes a visit to the National Museum of Villa Frigery (where x figure is guarded the statue of warrior of Capestrano) can take maximum 3 hours. To see definitely the Neptune pond with its adjacent playground for children. Nice walk which turns around the villa ... it's worth on a beautiful sunny day or sunset from the terrace admiring the Mater Majella behind Villa Frigery ...

  • I recommend everyone to at least pass. I happened several times walking into this place and it is very nice to relax and enjoy a bit of lightheartedness and tranquility from the hectic city life. Recommend it to everyone.
