  • The Roman era is one of the most fascinating chapters in the history of Chieti, as much as its products have been reworked and transformed over the centuries. The Shrines are no exception: enclose a development which extends for at least eight centuries and one can not be in any way. Yet the whole, instead of being valued as one of the most important monuments of the city, it is virtually impossible to visit inside and the hypogeum except in rare occasions (vd. FAI). Is it really that difficult for municipalities, understand that museums are not only those in which you do with the ticket, that the architectural relics are the same (huge) dignity of movable objects? The Temples are in a State of apparent (hopefully) abandonment, and the hideous modern concrete wall that stifles them does nothing but ingrigirne the already-alas-degraded decorum.

  • Interesting remains of the Roman era, located at the back of corso Marrucino, North side. Were three small times, connected to thermal bath, cistern and amphitheatre. Are perhaps a bit too little valued, but still from giving it a try.
