  • Visiting Chieti we were attracted to this beautiful building on the main street just restored. It is a palace built on Roman foundations (witness the underground path called Tecta) which today acts as a multifunctional space with a library, a theatre, Conference Hall and Museum. Inside, in addition to the interesting architecture in which we remember the great staircase in the style of "villa pompeiana", you can admire numerous works of contemporary painting. The many rooms contain very interesting works such as hyper-realist who earned the interest of children. It is certainly a stop not mancae if you find yourself in Chieti, especially considering the difficulties encountered by the revert Carichieti (owner of the Palace) in keeping it open to the public.

  • A historical building with many precious within both the distinctly that the dungeons. From the art collections of the abruzzese 800 900 spouse Paglione, the silvers. Also of interest is the environment, the piano nobile, which hosts them with frescoed ceilings, the floor in Venetian recovered, the grand staircase and the library on the ground floor. Especially the large painting of Maitland on "Figlia di Iorio" as first draft with the oil technique. For last in the basement VIA TECTA, a way for Roman hypogeum of the first century a.d. on the water system of the ancient city of Chieti. Entrance upon reservation and completely free, a thank you to the staff and volunteers for the basement.
