We were pleasantly surprised at the view on the Etruscans (cost € 5, brochures and maps). Arranged over 4 floors, the Museum documents the exhibition with descriptions written in various languages + video. Good to be back in the days when I studied this in school civilization, rediscovering how much were next in terms of craft, construction, weapons, graves and infrastructure. In an hour you visit everything quietly. Very friendly staff, we also asked for advice on the town, and they explained that deserve a visit as a rare example of a medieval city in the midst of so many. It is worth it to follow this advice. Eventually I bought the book "the Etruscans: magic, sex and politics," I teased (€ 4). We also recommend it to families with children.show original

Antonio Di ChiaraMore than a museum it is a permanent exhibition of Etruscan civilization cleverly organized into thematic sections spread over 4 floors and illustrated by a guide (free, included in the ticket price). Feel like you have stepped back a couple of millenniums. Highly recommended to anyone who is or, simply, is passing through or on vacation somewhere and want to spend a few hours steeped in history.show original
Antonio Di ChiaraMy interest in this Museum had been captured from the exhibition "Petala Aurea", an exhibition of Byzantine and Lombard collection scope Rovani: interessantissima.....ma the real surprise was the discovery of the museum itself! More than a museum exhibition of Etruscan civilization is cleverly organized into thematic sections spread over 4 floors and illustrated by a guide (free, included in the ticket price). Spend a couple of hours really unique and exciting. You feel like you have stepped back a few millennia! If you switch from part of Chianciano I recommend you stop by: you won't regret it!show original
