  • By stack for about 3 hours walking plan we arrive at this lovely retreat, located at the bottom of the Valley, below the monte Emilius only for the strongest, the food is good with a wide choice of things of Valle d'Aosta, is worth a full day of July with the Sun.

  • Retreat in beautiful location. Starting point for Mount Emilius, but the area is rich in lakes and tour. Very nice and pleasant environment. Everything well organized, very friendly and helpful.

  • The Arbolle refuge is located above town Pila (AO). You can choose to start directly from the parking lot after the tunnel and are about three hours of walking, gait beginner. Or you can start from the parking at the Distributor (the only) and take the chairlift, recommended if you do a day trip. And enjoying the view. From the cable car in ten minutes you get to Lake Chamolé and after an hour of ascent and goodwill, it dips and here in fifteen minutes. I was impressed by the variety on the menu at low cost, especially when one considers that the relief supplies at a shelter is via helicopter and not by spending two weeks on the market on the corner. The structure (spotless) is very comfortable for both locals and for the friendliness of the owners, very hands but no less professional. The hut enjoys nothing short of amazing, looks like a small jewel in the center of the Valley, with a lake where the more adventurous can try to dive ... From the hut several trails of varying difficulty, suitable for families with children and more adventurous hikers. Next time I won't come for a day only but I want to spend the night and wake up in a place like this.
