Parco Faunistico Mont Avic, Champdepraz

Although small, the park has a beautiful fauna typical of mountain environments: fallow deer, ibex, barn owl, foxes and the like. It is a well-kept and well-kept park, with animals that can be seen from a relatively close distance from other parks. The cost of 8 euros is fair - remember that the park is located in an area that is not easy and quick to reach, and the animals are well kept. The relaxation area with the pony, friendly with our dog, is pleasant. Very friendly staff, I had the pleasure of chatting and it was very interesting. Recommended if you are passing through the area, as there are trails and hikes nearby; quick to visit, it is a welcome stop from mountain walking.

The park has potential, very large, well laid out..but for the price paid (8 €) I would have expected a lot more. Few animals (there were no marmots, only one squirrel seen in passing ..) fallow deer reported but nonexistent. Around the cages there were BUSHES of nettles .. many empty cages .. only for some animals the name was present, without description and without anything else. A nice thing is the final area with the free goats that could run free.

Practically a zoo that hides behind those "2" animals that can no longer return to freedom .... A place to bring screaming children not used to the relationship with nature.
