  • Mass celebrated in a quick and direct and very clear! Beautiful that the pastor, at the end of the celebration, will greet and wish you a good Sunday to all those present, smiling and showing real closeness.

  • Two days ago I was in Cetara the Church is bare but very characteristic ... A nice place for recollection away from the crowds thronging the beaches ... The crib is beautiful ... The Neapolitans are masters and Cetara is worth a visit ...

  • The Church of San Pietro Apostolo, in the charming village of Cetara, was built in the 9th century when it was driven out the local community saracena. The building has been destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries. Today the building in Baroque style. Outside we can observe the majolica dome and Bell Tower; the latter, one element remained of the original structure, a rectangular base in the first three orders and the next two octagonal and has double Lancet Windows on each side. The Interior was to be initially much smaller and with entrance on the opposite side to the current one. On the left hand side we can see two plaques: one is dedicated to the Grandinetto Of cetara Aulisio, which is buried, which in the 15th century brought rescued Prince Frederick of Aragon causing it to avoid the conspiracy of the barons; the other to curate Gennaro spoken. Very nice is the stained glass window designed by Father Tarcisio Musto adorning the drum.
