  • The tower is undoubtedly one of the city's architectural references, mighty in structure, not of the highest height, enclosing the historical charm of the place, the tower was to defend the city against attacks from pirates. It is located near the port channel. The tower now houses the tourist information Office, which is partly accessible via a ramp.

  • The tower had a defensive function against the incursions of the Saracens. It has a square shape and powerful but low and culminates with a sloping roof. In the middle is a white marble bas-relief depicting St. Michael. The building is a characteristic element of the appearance of a fishing village.
