  • It is one of the most important Sanctuaries of Genoa. Placed high up in the hills (dress well!) is worth the climb just for the view if the religious sentiment is not part of you. Very moving part votive ... What more ...

  • I visited the sanctuary of Nostra Signora della Guardia in the foggy and little rain. Too bad ... I guess the beauty of the landscape that I missed. The sanctuary I felt even more mysterious foggy, the Interior is illuminated by large chandeliers, beautiful altar and the sense of peace that try in the silence of the place. Interesting gallery ex voto, but even better the crib that is located in an outer room. It was done in 20 years of work, all with seeds, shells of walnuts and almonds ... A place to visit ... ...

  • magnificent location on top of Mount Figogna: beautiful view of Genoa, the mountains and the sea in the distance. the shrine is popular, you can get there by public transport and on foot (walking not very challenging, but steep in places). There are also good and affordable restaurants
