If you want to visit the entire canyon you should leave at 10-11 so that you do not return when is dark because it could be dangerous. A person was found after 10 days after beeing lost. A must go!

Excellent walking trail. I have not been to many places but the Grand Canyon are a must see experience. The trekking is a little bit challenging but with determination and passion you can walk through the Canyon. We walked all through the Canyon till Vale d’Arano where there is a farm and it was already late but we pushed on till Ovindoli were we connected with the bus to Celano. A great and gorgeous experience.

Definitely a must-see! Wow! Be careful to get directions to the right place, though. I simply trusted Google Map directions and we ended up in what appeared to be a cattle farm where horse tours were offered. We had a great time but not what we expected. Do your research!!

Gorgeous walking trail into a canyon. First gorge short distance in. Next gorge maybe 2.5km in. Didn't go the whole 6km length. Some real easy walking mixed with a few more rocky and steep sections. Still very doable with young kids, maybe 7+.
