  • The most impressive architectural structure of Ceglie massive rises in the highest point of the village. Partly restored and partly in evident State of decay, houses inside public spaces at the service of citizens, used in particular as areas of study. Moving with all due respectful silence, you can admire the beautiful library, within which exposes ancient volumes made available by local families, a seminar room and art gallery, permanent exhibition space for art local also used for temporary exhibitions. I confess that the entrance in the evening in the main courtyard of the Castle, with its charm, its history and its stones, made me feel immersed in a bygone era.

  • Nice property in the medieval part of Ceglie.La part of public property was "restored". There is nothing left of what was the original layout. The private party belongs to the last descendant of the Dukes Verusio that does not make it available to the public as the beautiful garden left uncultivated. Part of the Norman Tower is falling apart ... It is an architectural jewel not valued. As for the kind gentleman who for some information has qualified as a cousin of count Verusio. At least gave us some information since it lacks any type of riding. The latest gem is that the public part, used as a library and art gallery is closed on Saturday and Sunday mornings. No need to add more.

  • Lovely building (or series of buildings technically). Recently part of it has been turned into a public library, which also has some artwork on show. The staff there were really friendly and welcoming.
  • Beautiful castle, very big sin partly in ruins and not open to the public but of great value and very nice, hopefully someday not far to see it in its entire splendor.

  • Much of the castle is still under renovation, currently part of it houses a municipal library in which there is an exhibition of works created during a competition held every year. Too bad that a part of the castle is not yet well renovated to allow guided tours inside

  • Nestled between the main square, the Center and the old town, towers over the landscape of those arriving in the city from almost all directions. A story that seems almost a novel currently houses an art gallery and can be visited by appointment.

  • Castle kept in excellent condition. Internal library. Open in the evenings.
