  • Nestled in the Madonie Park about 10 km. from Cefalù (to do a climb and with many switchbacks ... Beware of horses that roam free) is a very charming place from the spiritual point of view but also panoramic. Upon reaching a morning in late September, everything was closed except for the sanctuary surrounded by silence. If you're in the area feel free to check them out.

  • Many reasons to go... At 15 Km from Cefalù by a lace road that goes up to 600 meters a blind man would have found the view... Logic the panoramic view of the coast from Cefalù and the massif of the Madonie is superb! A sour there would have found hearing... Logic no sound encourages meditation and contemplation before the Madonna the Virgin one of the busiest sanctuaries of Sicily early September. Magnificent baroque and rococo altar all in marble, finely chiseled altar all marble various colors. A monumental set initially in the Cathedral of Palermo. Last reason the panoramic road offers stunning views of Cefalù, especially in late afternoon

  • We arrive at your destination across the road from Cefalù crosses the woods of the Madonie Park. The panoramic site and easy grace and beauty. Within a Baroque altar in marble. Worth a visit the adjacent Museum of sacred art, and arts and crafts. Impressed us the work of prof. Adelelmus Naples that exposes and explains to visitors its dramatic sculptural creations in wood and tools soriche reconstructions of the history of violin making.

  • You simply must visit Gibilmanna - great place!
  • Peace, tranquility and a wonderful view. from the sanctuary you can admire much of Palermo being 800 metres above sea level. If you continue to climb the view definitely improves because of the Madonie. The Church visited on weekdays is quiet and there is virtually none, formerly a Benedictine monastery. Makes the visit in spring or summer.
