  • the castle is a small gem that you just walked in the door, sin is uncared for and is going into decline. It would be vastly greater care and possibly find it open more often.

  • For history buffs is a place not to be missed ... ... first, because it was preserved without too many changes, but also because the condottiere Bartolomeo Colleoni had made his residence. Here we passed even a King of Denmark directly to Rome. (Fresco in the Castle). Remember that his surname was Cogli...ne and it was his boast so much that he depicted in the emblem and drawn everywhere. ... He wanted to prove that he had courage (had cogl ...). On the other hand was the Commander in Chief of the armed forces Venetian blinds and won many battles. The visit is only Wizard. I recommend you see even where his remains are buried in Bergamo Alta in the chapel.

  • We have been following the guided tour (the tour guide was in costume in style dating back to the time of the Castle) that fully explained the history of the Castle and its territory, relations with the Republics and the close relationship with Bartolomeo Colleoni, a prominent figure not only for the history of the Bergamo area but also throughout the Italian territory. Really recommended for those who want to know the details of the life of the time in and out of the Castle and for those who want to have the feeling of stepping back in time.

  • Bellissimo castello, molto particolare e recentemente ristrutturato
  • A well preserved Castle the talented guides help to know in detail the history, architecture and art. A little gem a few kilometers from Milan and very few from Bergamo, which deserves to be better known.

  • Very impressive, practice the virtual guide through downloadable apps using Wi-Fi provided by Castle on their smartphone or provided by special phones equipped with headphones on loan (included in entry price only released with legacy identification returned at the end of the visit) with the app already installed and ready to use. Not having problems of time you get a chance to look into peaceful and unhurried tot the various rooms and various frescoes (unfortunately some very damaged or almost faded). Entry price is not excessive, indeed!

  • This abode of the great leader bergamasco Colleoni is worth a visit to admire the interiors and frescoes depicting the visit to the castle of the King of Denmark Christian I ascribed to Romanino. Open only on weekends with guided tour.
