  • After the unfortunate experience of the earthquake of 1980 the reality of the future shrine of St. Anthony and St. Francis were very negative and even never solved. While with the enthusiasm of a big brother to name Gan that sent the population the same enthusiasm and desire to share with a large church, a distance of about 20 years by the earthquake, Cava de ' Tirreni found itself with a large sanctuary that today is one of the great fact of the city for the remarkable events that draw so many faithful participation.

  • I've been a few times to visit with my family at this ancient Sanctuary. The first time was just before Christmas. There are beautiful and grandiose cribs that you can Church is beautiful and behind him has a kiosk at every festivity, becomes theme! At Christmas time c was the village of Patience to entertain kids and even adults. Also (in the kiosk) you eat too! The second time I've been there last week. I could also see the crypt next to the Church, everything quaint ... and on the occasion of Valentine's day and Carnival, in the kiosk could buy sweets and chocolates! Really everything well organized! Deserves to go and visit

  • The Church was virtually destroyed by an earthquake in 1980. The origins of the Church date back to the late 15th century, a time when civil and religious activities were concentrated in the immediate vicinity. Thanks to various renovations the Church reached the height of its splendour between the 17th and 18th centuries, when it was enriched with many works of great artistic and historical value. To the left of the church there is a bell tower with a clock. Next to the church there is also a convent inside and a library which houses prestigious volumes. Inside the sanctuary is still possible to admire works of considerable interest,
