  • In this way not much long are four baroque churches including the convent of cloistered nuns. For the feast of Saint Agatha on 5 February the feretory della Santa, after traveling through the city, usually at dawn on 6 February lingers in front of the monastery and they hear the voices of the sisters. The feast of St Agatha is deeply felt by the people of Catania, it is believed to be among the first in the world for devotees who come from all over to worship it. Many stories are woven into the life of this Saint, some true others imaginative. It's always a show to attend 5 days of this religious festival.

  • The street is a lot of exterior renovations, so it is a bit difficult now to guess why the street is so famous for. However, it is a good idea to walk around and perhaps find the treasures. A few good small restaurants is because of poikkikaduilla.

  • Historical street of Catania, parallel to via Etnea. According to me here you find everything catanese Baroque is full of churches and historic buildings, there are also restaurants and pubs would be enhanced further if is closed to traffic. A walk in this way is highly recommended.
