  • Sightseeing Skating it is impossible not to visit this famous monument that reflects the essence of the city repeatedly exposed lava erupting Mount Etna volcano and earthquake-it says: "Rising from the ashes I am becoming more beautiful".

  • A work of art in the open with several details in Baroque, it is all worked out, i.e. is a charm to this city that has so much to offer,

  • Stately door, with great visual impact that can be seen from piazza Duomo. Very characteristic for bichromatic reading given by the alternation of lava stone and marble, is a symbol of Catania. Once triumphal entry built in honor of Ferdinand de Bourbon, now was downgraded to far more modest roundabout of piazza Palestro. Sic transit gloria mundi! As if that weren't enough, just beyond the Arch on via Garibaldi, there are also free parking stalls (white stripes): a real havoc! The "poor" rating does not deserve the door Ferdinandea, but the city's administration that allows such a situation. If you really wanted to redevelop the neighborhood of the Fort (the area where is located the port), you should start at least with pedestrianizing the area.
