Welcomed by a nice lady at the ticket office, I started the visit from the terraces of the Museum, where it can be seen from near porta Uzeda and have a beautiful view of piazza Duomo and via Etnea, as well as "muntagna", our beautiful Etna volcano! The Museum is a treasure trove of works of sacred art, culminating with the VARA, the feretory di Sant'Agata, operates the exquisite silvery Bill. recommended!

Located near the Cathedral of catania, it would be a shame not to visit it, both for the tiny price of the ticket (10 euros), both for the beauty that it represents: beautiful panoramic views of piazza duomo and via etnea, you can admire the various rooms used as art galleries and those where there are pieces of history of different eras. Can make even the combined ticket for thermal wood. Consigliatisiimo!!!

  • Nice place. The exhibition is kind of small. Be sure to visit the rooftop terrace if possible - really nice view.
  • Very nice view from the rooftop.
  • The theming needed some work, but this might have been due to a lack of content. The museum felt pretty sparse.
  • A nice Museum on 4 levels, phenomenal views from the terrace. The gem: a chance to see the relics of Saint Agatha.

  • Beautiful building in piazza duomo which houses a permanent exhibition of religious split over 4 floors. Shame about the salt little full ... beautiful and modern conference room on the top floor! Located a stone's throw from the Catania fish market.
