  • I was finalmenteci,,,, I fell in love with the herborarium before you even visit it and then finally today there are entrance in catania historic centre under an arch a little door and in a wave of aromas and the kindness of roberto who made us enjoy two different kinds of tea. Yes will be at herborarium which I will present for the first time in Catania on my novel "the room of memories". It's the perfect place

  • Hidden beneath an arch, almost not advertised externally, there is this lovely tea room/Museum/herbalist. We walked in to browse and was greeted with great warmth by the guy who runs that guided us with competence in a short "olfactive journey." View the hot day we opted for a couple of very special the cool roiboss, but if I had the chance would be a pleasant place to hang out in the winter to try all their teas (which you can still buy in the store).

  • Almost at the end of Via Crociferi towards Piazza San Francesco rises this herbalist/tea room/Museum. Fascinating place. I want to take a little thought in Catania to a young friend ... a tea note but peculiar. I chose "Volcano" which amongst other ingredients has flowers of prickly India. Planting beautiful image, a symbol of Sicily. The young man who greeted me and recommended (we also talked to Mate and how to best prepare it as cold drink) was telling me that herbs and plants are grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, Mount Etna, in the garden of a Benedictine monastery. The monastery is named after the Cardinal Giuseppe Benedetto Dusmet, Archbishop of Catania. Shop for antique ceramics of Pharmacy and precious instruments torn to oblivion deserves a longer visit and accurate. Account to go back.
