  • There are many churches in Catania and they are all worth looking at. Thus particular one has its own charm.  more »
  • Unfortunately only saw the outside as it was closed. The history of this Saint is amazing and there is another church where you can see the prison in which she was kept.  more »
  • While the place is lovely, there was no air conditioning and my partner and I were far too hot to enjoy it. Also, while I understand covering up is respectful the woman at reception tossed two scarves...  more »

  • The sacred building, dates back to the year 264 ad, and this is the first temple dedicated to the patroness of Catania.
