  • Beautiful baroque church dedicated to Saint Benedict of Nursia. Is located in Via Crociferi close to as many beautiful churches. We could see only the outside (staircase, railing, statues and façade), because it was closed. We hope to be luckier next time.

  • Read that the entrance fee, but we went without any payment. Only made a comment to in shorts on. The service was quite likely so and get free entrance (like many paid churches). Inside is beautiful, but if you go through several Sicilian churches, some special furniture is different from the other.

  • Beautiful church, certainly the most beautiful of all via Crociferi, at least as far as the exterior façade, with statues and decorations in the most classic example of Sicilian baroque. The Interior? To enter you have to go around the building, go through the Archway and accessed from via del Teatro, # 2: once you arrive, here's a door bolted with attached a measly A4 sheet explaining briefly that the structure is no longer managed by some Association and waiting for it to take over another, the Church is closed and you cannot visit. No comment!

  • Catania is a Roman Catholic Church, built in the 18th century. It is located in via dei Crociferi Round Spa and health district, where it was built between 1704 and 1713, and was dedicated to Saint Benedict of Nursia.
