  • Very close to the Cathedral, is definitely worth a visit. And even more deserves the views from the top of the dome. One hundred and ninety steps but worth it. A 360 degree panorama on Catania. The Council

  • I'm not one for churches as they all rather look suspiciously like churches to my eye. Actually I did spend a little time looking at the history of this particular Church and it seemed that after the ...  more »
  • Really impressive, right next to the Cathedral Church of which, at least in my opinion is more substantial, the dome. Definitely worth a visit

  • A very small church, which interior is round without poles. Dome climbing costs 2 euro, but it is a must. You can view Mt Etna, the whole city and the port with navy aircraft carrier from it.
  • Beautiful church, not like the others in Catania. A walk on the roof is mandatory, despite the stairs.
  • Very nice.
  • Artwork of Giovan Battista Vaccarini, made from 1735 to 1767. The Church is surmounted by a large and beautiful dome on a drum octagonal Prism.

  • Beautiful church. But even nicer is the view that can be admired from the top of the dome. You have to climb many steps and go for tall and narrow environments, not recommended for those who suffer from claustrophobia. For the rest I would highly recommend getting and enjoying the view, you see all over Catania and Mount Etna.
