  • Great beautiful baroque church, internally does not have the same beauty of the Cathedral, but it is definitely worth visiting. Located on via etnea.

  • It is a Baroque church located in Via Etnea thereupon University square, rises over a pagan temple. During the Byzantine era it was called most Holy Mary of Alms. It was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693. We couldn't visit the Interior, because there was a wedding taking place. We hope to visit it next time.

  • The basilica can be reached along via Etnea. Beautiful Baroque façade, inside a candle that accompanies the procession of the protector of the City Saint Agatha

  • Small but beautiful church, especially its exterior building is exquisite.
  • Very nice.
  • Splendid example of Baroque style.
  • Just a miracle of architecture
  • Over the centuries, the church became increasingly important and assumed by 1396 the title of Director of the Royal Chapel, being often frequenting the Aragonese and 1446 object, which was instituted a College of canons (hence the title of Collegiate Church).
