  • I was for the second time in Catania and was still the fish market to fascinate me. Sounds, colors, smells that only there you can find. Shame you can't take away a bit of fresh fish. And then is right in the Middle, close to the central square with its beautiful palaces and the Cathedral. Go if you can: we will stay inside!

  • Super market typical! You can find all, fruits, vegetables, fish... The atmosphere is very atypical, displays nice, good course, not bad smells like fish and everyone yells, but feels local and you'll quickly get comfortable. We ate several times, the price is very affordable and multiple solutions.

  • Near the main square of Catania is this place a very special beauty. In fact between sellers screaming and multicolored stalls you can appreciate the beauty of this market which left me speechless for both the set of all its features and the prices at which goods are sold. Beautiful.

  • "Historical fish market" is an important step for those who want to visit the city and enjoy the features, still poorly modified by modernity. Folk, full of old practices, a ' piscaria is a little bit apparently forgotten by time, but positioned at 100 meters from the main town square, the Duomo square with the Town Hall and the Cathedral. It can be accessed from both the Amenano Fountain (also called "water linzolu") both by the arches of the Navy. You find lots of good fish, fresh and well priced. In the surroundings there are many good pubs/restaurants whose menus are full of fish. It's a stage ultra recommended for photo-video amateurs who want to capture images and glimpses of reality.
