There's a long walking trail which is but shadow, which is why we us in September after visiting the Museum in the Casa Rossa Ximenes for the boat tour instead. Our guide was not whether there are also guided tours in other languages in Italian, I know. Davide ValacchiVisit qs place at dawn or dusk, especially around the Red House. Too bad the path that goes around the swamp (marked in red on the map) is largely unusable and interrupted in places.
