  • In Vetulonia not Castiglione about 30 minutes away. In the old schoolhouse and very well done showing the influence of the Etruscans on the region  more »
  • I recommend this to anyone who wants to get closer to the History Museum and Etruscan culture because it's small, but full of surprises. It is well structured and you can visit in a short time. You can find interesting items and there are often temporary exhibitions which enrich the Museum! It is also pleasant to have a walk through the village of Vetulonia that offers breathtaking views of the coast and over the plain of Grosseto. Even a visit to the ruins of the city and the street of tombs worth.

  • Small but cosy two-storey museum, which allows you to make a beautiful tour of the Etruscan civilization. Very rich in finds, is connected to the archaeological area just a few hundred meters, worth stopping and walking on slabs of the wide road leading to the Domus of Medea. Guests can enjoy the Etruscan tombs at the beginning of the village.

  • Small museum but fascinating. fascinating artifacts and well groomed. divided into 4 halls we wander among the many exhibits that lead us to the discovery of the Etruscans and the Romans. Very helpful staff. Not to be missed.

  • I went with my pupils to visit the Museum. The guides were great at explaining the history of the exhibits. Also the exposure is very accurate
