  • Imperial Foundation, nerve center of power relations in medieval Abruzzo, bears witness to the succession of political and military games (not least the advent of the Normans), the Abbey is a clear reference in the varied and extensive historical material culture and Abruzzo. The visit allows you to appreciate the majestic simplicity of Romanesque d'Abruzzo. For those who want to venture out to discover the life of the monastery, I would recommend reading the Chronicon Casauriense.

  • Part of the remains of the fourth Pope of Rome "SAN CLEMENTE" are buried in this church from the year 872 following a votive offerings--with the construction of the original church--. Other remains at-St Clement Lateran in Rome-the Church rebuilt in 1182, unique, in the world of medieval churches of passing between Romanesque and Gothic Cistercian Foundation-San Clemente enthroned-the building history-are represented in the Lunette and lintel of the doorway of the Church.

  • Fantastic Church. Romanesque church. The façade with its sculptures is the most beautiful part of abruzzo. The Interior is fantastic. Too bad for hours of operation
