  • from castemezzano to pietrapertosa and vice versa along a walkway in the countryside through the Valley of a small river with steep descents and arduous climbs. recommended for those who are not afraid of long walks.

  • Beautiful route. It's as if you'd come back in time. Along this ancient path seems to bump into a reality "unreal"!!! Starting from Castelmezzano direction Pietrapertosa, once you get near the cemetery, the signs are absolutely clear and always present. Once you start the route, near each stone (are precisely 7) it was accompanied by a story set to music recorded who wants to revive the ancient legends of the place that these places were inhabited by witches, so at times it's nice and even a bit mysterious ... suffice it to say that we met a family in which there was a child who terrorized has forced parents to go back ... continuing beyond the stage called "the witches" It is possible to admire an ancient Roman bridge under which flows a Brook absolutely characteristic ... streets passable with no problem but if you are equipped with hiking boots, because in some places, particularly steep and steep ... path long enough if you want to get to Pietrapertosa. Recommend you do it in the morning.

  • A walk to do if you are in the area. From Castelmezzano you get to Pietrapertosa. The last section has a good slope but all in all it is easy to make and a spectacular view. The tale of the seven stones is well done even if sometimes they say that the sound is not working. For other itineraries you need a guide. We will be back
