  • From the story, the view, their ethos and hospitality, this winery is truly amazing. We enjoyed the tour as well as the wine tasting. They also have a lovely selection of olive oil and grappa too.  more »

  • Small tasting room with free tastings of their lower-end red wines. Sadly, not the really good stuff, but very pleasant all the same.
  • Chianti Classica , specially Reserva are very good!
  • Great wine and great olive oil.
  • Saturday 23 July 2016 visited the estate of Castellare di Castellina di Castellina in Chianti, appointment for 2 people at 9:45 for a guided tour in the cellar and tasting of some of their wines. The road to the Winery is easily with any Web browser and once you cross the threshold of the gate awaits you and no 100 meters of dirt road for no prohibitive. The place is magnificent, a natural amphitheatre of vineyards, Woods and trees that alternate to form the ideal microclimate that make all the really great estate wines of the highest quality. After the tasting in a comfortable and quiet room we went to buying a good supply of bottles on our wine cellars: several bottles of 0.75, some Magnum and the inevitable and really yummy "hearth of" extra virgin olive oil in the beautiful glass packaging 1 liter.

  • Awesome place, not easily accessible. Maybe you don't go there in Ferrari:) The wines ... well ... who knows that they are good and worth the price. We made a small tasting and bought some bottles. Pity that, despite getting announced days before eMail, we had to wait quite as much for tasting. Still stratospheric wines and beautiful place
