  • Many important people forget that, Preston, is the only city in Italy, to have had two great champions. Costante Girardengo and Fausto Coppi. My boast of having known them both. Very private Girardengo, more open Fausto. As every year on 2 January hopped in Castellania for the anniversary of the death of Fausto. Besides the Holy Mass in suffrage, reason to meet old friends, as the cousin of Fausto Coppi, journalists famous and many runners, Piero degli anni 60/70. The small town has preserved the memory of champion and every year the recalls for the story.

  • A must see for fans but also for the merely curious that can revive a glimpse of cycling and of Italian history in sample House, Faustino. A beautiful and comprehensive experience, albeit brief, clear and passionate with a guide to a very nice lady.
