  • Valentino Museum, a gem, nestled within Santa Chiara in Castellaneta in the province of Taranto, in the medieval village is a must see for those who come to visit this small town in Puglia still genuine full of history and many things to see. The story of the last original silent film star of Carlos who found fortune overseas.

  • The old town of Castellanteta, in addition to offering spectacular views thanks to the ravines, hiding in his heart an invaluable treasure: a museum dedicated to Rudolph Valentino. To welcome Mr. Carmelo, prepared and very kind, who with great availability has led to the discovery of the myth. The passion and commitment of the Fondazione Rodolfo Valentino keeps alive the memory of a great actor, reflected in the care with which is a museum.

  • I was traveling close to August with my boyfriend to Castellaneta. Absolutely unaware that it was the birthplace of the legendary silent film actor Rudolph Valentino. We understand seeing a sign at the entrance of the town: "Carlos city of myth", with the picture of Rudolph. Intrigued we went looking for something that was about and found the Museum which was thankfully open even if close to the 15 August. Antique space housed in the shelter of a church, the visit included the vision of an autobiographical documentary on the artist, a reconstruction of a small set of the film the Sheik, clear guides on many posters, filmography and biography, memorabilia to Valentino and his birthplace's original bed. Particularly useful in a small newspaper with newspaper clippings of the time and above that raised questions about his death that in part is still nebulous. The staff and available to clarify curiosity and questions about this artist who in just 31 years of life has managed to become a Hollywood myth
