Must see · Nature / Park · Wildlife Area
Riserva Naturale Dello Zingaro, a nature preserve with beaches, mountains, and steep cliffs, stretches along nearly 7 km (4.3 mi) of unspoiled coastline. Walk along one of the well-maintained footpaths and admire the flora and fauna. Try to spot one of the bright green lizards lazing on a rock. Cool off with a dip in the sea at one of the secluded coves. Pack a meal for one of picnic areas, because the preserve has no shops or cafes. Cars aren't allowed beyond the parking lot, so wear comfortable shoes. • If you are not resistant to brutal heat you can skip it, it’s not so amazing. Mini palmas are special but most probably you will not see all these unique animal species and plants mentioned in guides....  more »
  • The clearest seas and a wonderful opportunity for snorkeling. Although part was closed when we visited because of a recent wild fire i was still glad that we had visited.  more »
  • Remenber to contact the local tourisme agencies BEFORE visiting Zingaro. The reserve is closed due to fire until spring 2021, but that does not appear on the officiel website for Zingaro. I went 350.....  more »
  • Absolutely incredible and well worth the trek out here and hike to the water. All the beaches were awesome in their own right so check them all out. 2 hour one way hike to do in full - make sure to bring water and food if you need it
  • Fantastic views! Some tough paths but you are rewarded at every corners. The bays are stunning. Be aware of the parking regulations. It can be a long walk if you had to park at the end of the line.
  • Beautiful, cameral, rocky beaches. Beautiful views all around. It's best to choose late afternoon because of the lack of shade. It's worth having your own piece of shadow :) Super greenish-blue water with lots of fish. The sea is incredibly clear, which is ideal for snorkeling or scuba diving.
  • Amazing place and nature. We would have loved to spend the entire day there! next time
  • Amazing experience! The place is very beautiful, I started the path from Scopello to San Vito Lo Capo. Recommend to take very good shoes, hat, glasses, sunscreen, some lunch and lot of water (minimum 2 litres) during the path there is just 2 places where you can fill the bottle (One at the beginning and other almost to the end). The price to enter to Riserva is 5 euros.
