  • A magnificent Arab-Norman castle that takes you back to the flavours of ancient times ... the finest anthropological museum is home to one I've ever been to with a portion devoted to objects of ancient crafts and tools very well displayed and stored. Very well kept, neat and clean. The staircase leading to the tower is spectacular!!! Friendly staff and a special thanks to the helpful and knowledgeable Mr. Salvatore that explained very well and with a lot of passion and interest in the history of the Castle and the city. It was a real treat because the castle is not heavily advertised and did not expect this surprise. Very nice even with the remains of the old powder keg. We hope that you will visit underground grain depots soon located along the main street, of which we saw openings strictly closed by steel lids of which no one understood the meaning. And then admission is free .... Amazing .... Really worth seeing! Open on week.

  • The Museum, located within the Arab-Norman castle, consists of 2 sections: the ethno-anthropological part and the part dedicated to the sea. Are extremely attractive for the multitude of antique tools. Recommend a visit to the Sicilians to learn more about the history of the island.

  • In my opinion one of the best anthropological museums I have ever seen. Totally manages to involve you and surprise you causing you to rediscover and learn about objects and pieces of our past history, preserving the aromas and emotions that come with it. Really to remain open-mouthed. So what about the head, a wonderful person who manages to convey with its radiance, a genuine passion and strong for his land's history, Sicily. If you're lucky like us also will be welcomed by the city's unexpected Savior a guide who escorted us on the last day in making it unique and memorable telling us not only the history of this place but making us participate firsthand through its narrow streets and views really suggestive that this country has to offer. Left us a unique experience and great, that makes New York one of the places of our hearts.

  • Beautiful, crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. I prefer when the style is pure then midweek if you have dependent children of Sunday
