  • Castell'Arquato is a very beautiful country perched on a Hill kept really well beautiful la Rocca, all red bricks seem to be in the middle ages, no traffic and with a magnificent view really worth visiting

  • Very well kept town with its castle overlooking a cliff. Advice to keep an eye on the events being organized in this corner of history. I personally will defo after this visit which gave me the opportunity to discover a beautiful country but I am sure that can express the best during the many parties and with so many people. Recommended!

  • The village has for me a particular value. When I was preparing to specialization, penniless student like me, I rented for a few years a modest home and essential: two bedrooms and a large kitchen. Yet for me was the best House in the world, located right in the historical centre, a few meters from the square. Must have been the weekend retreat, instead I spent there some wonderful years of my life, alone or with a few trusted friends, since the other there were never. Revise it and retrieve it intact, protected by the pressure of time, was a unique experience. I wanted not to lose anything my guests Californians, interested in "minor" artistic places of Italy, and there are successful because they are in love. I led them to the whole village, showing their corners, Windows, stones, alleys and glimpses perhaps insignificant, that I was familiar with. Today as then, you have to climb and leave your car at the end of the village. Unlike some other reviewers, the days of October when I was there, not circulated any car other than those authorized. But that's the charm of Castell'Arquato, a true medieval town restored and not built for art, located on the foothills of Arda and perched along the hillside to dominate the passage. It is preserved so well, not only in the monumental constructions but in every detail, which is entering the "timeless" size. Council to devote a few days to visit Castell'Arquato and many neighbouring places, equally noteworthy.
