  • I called to make a smartbox and was told that the tasting and visit would be in English only. When I said I wasn't interested, I was treated like I was an ignorant who didn't know the language. Despite being an Italian Castle and although we're an Italian couple. All this because they had other 7 Englishmen who didn't speak Italian.

  • Through a smartbox given I booked this place. The drive to get there with landscapes and beautiful colors in nature, location great with wine cellars but alas the tasting was the sore point. In twenty minutes, maybe, "tasted" two whites, four red, un bon Saint and two brandies!! Unfortunately, all done with the stopwatch from the lady who explained to us the various wines, and the rush to bring the car to do the cutting, I swear, coming from you!!! Sin, however I would recommend it, But make sure the lady has no commitments! Hoping to read and confirm greeting the guys from Arezzo Mirko and Alessandra!

  • Beautiful castle in the countryside. Was here for a wedding and it was great!
  • Nice location for events. Beautiful castle which remained almost equal to the original building.

  • The castello di Oliveto is located in the municipality of Castelfiorentino: its name derives from the numerous olive plantations that surround it. Built in 1424 by the noble Florentine family Pucci, in 1850 is passed to the equally famous Guicciardini family. Built in brick, is placed atop a hill protected by moats, walls and towers: characterize the Guelph crenellations, the four towers at the corners, the clock tower, the inner courtyard with the plaster in graphite, the portico with four arches and Chapel for religious services. Along the entire perimeter of the walls is the walkway, which dominates the Valley. During its long history it has hosted celebrities: Popes as Clement VII, Leo X, Paul III, Lorenzo il Magnifico, while in 1944 came over to the American troops led by General Mark Clark and became their headquarters. Farms of the castello di Oliveto produces prestigious wines and a superb extra virgin olive oil.

  • A really nice, picturesque and relaxing, I went to a wine tasting of the place (they are also on sale and are great) with a visit to the Castle and cellars, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
