  • Beautifully perched on a ridge overlooking the Val Venosta overlooking the Stelvio glacier. Easily accessible via shuttle bus, takes only a short walk to reach the top. I recommend the longer path on the left of the parking lot shuttle terminal that glides along a small waterway and in the midst of the chestnut trees with a great view. The castle can be visited at hours defined and finite groups with Italian or German, so check. The castle is very suggestive, conveys all the passion for the mountains of Messner and leaks out of mysticism throughout. I will not dwell on descriptions that would make you lose a welcome surprise. For me, Mountaineer and nature lover, it was a wonderful experience. Should return to the path and adjacent Park on a small farm among the chestnut trees and stunning views to enjoy Bacon, cheese and chestnuts in huge portions ... Last advice, check it out away from the crowds to enjoy him to the fullest.

  • Awesome, that Mr Messner of the old walls of Juval has adopted and maintaining the great castle. Order but correctly to classify the compilation of collected objects, you should know about themselves intensively with the person and the life of Messner. We have risen to the castle on foot, only on asphalt, then on hiking trails. The Etsch and Val Senales views are beautiful. The Guide at the castle is beautifully weird. More will not reveal, check it out yourself!

  • In comparison to Firmian is rather disappointed. The location of the castles is fantastic, the views beautifully, the exhibition recalls an esoteric shop. Simply, you have to like a collection of exotic souvenirs without didactic processing... The artifacts are difficult to match with the theme, you would have to make more. The one-sidedness of Hinduism Buddhism - was to be expected.

  • Good wine, friendly, view and unique cultivation. The only drawback: screw caps for wine.
