  • Cult place, attraction not to miss for those interested in history. Here you can relive the suggestions submitted by the time of Frederick II. Choose less crowded days to fully enjoy the beauty of the area.

  • A stone building on octagonal with eight octagonal towers, too. It was used as a hunting lodge by Frederick II of Swabia. Monument under the aegis of Unesco-listed on the coin of a penny. For its uniqueness, well worth a visit

  • Take the coin to a dime, turn on the "back" and Italian euros you will see engraved the silhouette of the Castle. It is recognition for an extraordinary place, never sufficiently valued and indeed for many centuries expertly covered by a systematic "damnatio memoriae." But he, the Castle, is still there, mighty, majestic and enigmatic despite the nefarious restorations made in several stages. The place is not to be missed! But. before you go, read something about Frederick II of Swabia, on his passions, intellectuals of whom liked to surround himself and faced, on his personal story and sovereign. Just so you get to see, albeit in a fog, truly the castle which is not a castle, which is built on a hill that is, curiously, exactly halfway between Chartres Cathedral and the great pyramid of cheops. And don't you ever more passion for this site and for everything that hides and that has been cleverly hidden.
