  • I was surprised this siculo-Norman duomo with its great Tower, similar to the small medieval town where we spent pleasant moments, if it goes to Caserta do not hesitate to visit it. I had been in 2008 and missed it.

  • ... fabulous Cathedral dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel in which blend siculo-Arabic style, the Romanesque Benedictine style. The Church has 3 naves separated by 18 columns from Roman temples surmounted by capitals varied mostly Corinthians. The holy water font carved from a Corinthian column that is based on a medieval lion and by noting the "madonna with child" medieval fresco on the last column of the right aisle. The Cathedral has a mystical charm to see for themselves.

  • Charming medieval village by the magical atmosphere. Would be better valued for the enormous potential it offers.

  • In short, for those who are undecided whether to go or not Casertavecchia, my advice is definitely Yes. Aside from the beauty of the Cathedral, the walk to Casertavecchia offers the opportunity to take a short trip back in time between the small streets opening onto landscapes of "mountain" incontaminati...il small medieval must be visited with the right spirit to be able to appreciate the beauty. It takes an hour to visit the whole thing, but there are several restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner.

  • Overview over the whole Campania

  • Beautiful place with stunning views, but it is not well-organized to tourism in the evening, in the sense that a stretch of the route in addition to not having pedestrian safety also lack of lighting. For the rest nothing to say, the landscape and the environment are spectacular.
