  • The Hermitage of San Vitaliano, just a few kilometres from Caserta, is a church complex that boasts nearly a thousand years of history. It was built at the behest of Vitaliano, Bishop of Capua, persecuted and thrown into the sea in a leather sack and saved by God. Despite renovations and historical stratifications, this place, even though it has lost some of its originality of the year approximately 1100, desta anyway great admiration visitors fascinated by the whole context, it seems to me very impressive. At the beginning of 2000 was performed a restoration aimed at safeguarding the entire structure. I highly recommend visiting this place, since it is a rare example of architecture of the 11th century, by level equal to other sites of historical and artistic importance of the province of Caserta.

  • a 10-minute drive from the Centre of Caserta is located this composite structure from the Church and from a cottage very cosy. the food and the prices are average but overall the hotel is very nice and offers a quiet and hospitable. ideal for spending your Sunday, away from traffic and in the country without running the risk of getting hours of traffic to return home
