  • I accidentally discovered the Pasta hammers and now I can't to buy industrial pasta! Good in white, enhances any type of seasoning, cooked perfectly and with the guests is always a guaranteed success. The flour must be of sufficiently high quality because it is digested very well and doesn't cause bloating. The first time to know dealers I called pasta factory, were terrific and they sent me for the email. Good family Martelli, is how you do it, kindness and quality!

  • This is actually not a tourist attraction, but a pasta factory. Lari is a half-hour drive from the Centre of Pisa. We learned how they make their special pasta and see up close how spaghetti and pasta penne are produced on machinery. The tour was free, and nor was there any sales in the factory where the man would feel forced to act afterward. I recommend, however, that to get to the local store in another part of the village and buy a little of this pasta, it is truly amazing. (The price is double that at the airport, so take the opportunity to be here!) Very nice and friendly, and they burn really for their activities. I sent an email the day before and asked if it was ok that we got there, and then when we arrived there was another family there at the same time, and we got a spontaneous tour (in English) in the factory directly. This is not a place where you book an appointment for a tour, but it could probably be a good idea to email before and check if it's ok to get there. Contact information can be found on the home page. The surroundings are also incredibly beautiful and typical "Tuscany".

  • Stopped by this wonderful little pasta factory in Lari as part of a tour. Only family members work there and they produce pasta the traditional way. Lovely visit.  more »

  • It's not open till 1 Sept. So we missed out on the pasta factory tour ...
  • Small, but nice pasta factory. Take the 30min tour to see the production.
  • Must see!
  • Was with my tour group here. Visit with guide have been worth it. Guests were thrilled. I bought different pasta.
